My goal is to make sure every moment of your photoshoot feels calm and enjoyable. I take great care in positioning your little one for those perfect sleepy, curled-up poses, all while prioritising their safety. You’ll be able to sit back and enjoy watching these moments unfold, knowing that your baby is in expert hands.

When is the Best Time for a Newborn Photoshoot?
The ideal time to capture those beautiful newborn moments is within the first 7-14 days after your baby is born.
During this period, your little one is still in that sleepy, curled-up stage, allowing us to create those precious, peaceful poses that are so iconic in newborn photography. After around 2-3 weeks, babies begin to stretch out and become more alert, making it more challenging to capture those gorgeous poses we all love.
To ensure we get the best results, and are able to have your shoot during this very limited window of time, I recommend booking your newborn photoshoot well in advance, ideally before your baby arrives.
This way, we can secure your session around your due date, with flexibility built in to accommodate early or late arrivals. Whether your baby arrives right on time or a little unexpectedly, I’ll make sure we have room in the schedule to capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments during this special window.

Your Southampton Newborn Photographer
As we don’t know when your baby will be born, we simply book with your due date. I will only take a limited number of due dates each month and I will leave gaps in my diary too. So it doesn’t matter if your baby is early or late.
You let me know as soon as your bundle of joy arrives and we will schedule the shoot date. As posing is best between 7-21 days I will find a date within this time.
You will be provided with a preparation guide to make sure you know exactly where to come and what to prepare before. I will also find out about any colour and styling preferences to create those gorgeous images that you will love!

Newborn Photography Packages and Pricing
I charge a session fee of £75 for every newborn shoot.
My session fee covers my time of 3-4 hours, use of a large range of bespoke and hand picked props, outfits and accessories. Sessions can also include parents and siblings. I ask for the session fee to be paid to secure your booking in my diary.
Once your shoot has taken place, your images will be hand edited by me and your viewing gallery of your stunning photos will be available within 1-2 weeks of your session. You are then able to choose from one of my packages.
I offer a range of packages designed to suit every family’s needs, ensuring you get beautiful, high-quality images of your newborn to treasure forever. Each package includes hand-edited, high-resolution digital images, with the option to add stunning prints and wall art to complete your collection.

This signature collection includes a gallery of 10 exquisite portraits from your newborn photography session experience, in digital and printed form.
